Student Day at embedded world 2026 in Nuremberg

Würth Elektronik eiSos invites students to the Student Day at the embedded world 2026 trade fair in Nuremberg.

What to expect:

  • Free entry to embedded world
  • Snacks and drinks throughout the day

The Student Day is aimed at prospective engineers and technicians who would like to gain insights into Würth Elektronik eiSos and learn about current developments and trends in the electronics industry.

Erasmus+ Semester Abroad Winter Semester 2026/27 at the University of Banja Luka

Chemnitz University of Technology is a member of the EU university alliance Across, which also includes the University of Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The International Office (IUZ) provides special Erasmus+ funding for a semester abroad in winter semester 2026/27.

The funding includes:

  • a monthly grant of EUR 700
  • travel cost support
  • an additional monthly grant of EUR 250 for students with “fewer opportunities” (further information at mytuc.org/fzmp)

Applications can be submitted online from now until 31 March 2026 via a special application procedure. Further details and the link to the online application can be found at mytuc.org/znyg.

Study on Personality Research

Dear Students of Electrical and Information Engineering,

My name is Katharina Koch, and I am studying Psychology at TU Chemnitz. For my master's thesis, I am looking for participants for a study that investigates the interplay of personality traits, intelligence, and academic performance. The goal is to find out to what extent personality can compensate for a lower IQ.

The study consists of an intelligence test (40 minutes) and an online survey (15 minutes). The sessions will take place from January 8 to 22, 2025, at Wilhelm-Rabe Straße 43, Room 4/037. You can participate if you are between 18 and 30 years old, speak German well, and are a student.

There are vouchers to be won (1x €50, 2x €20, 1x €10) for every 100 participants. Just sign up with your email address (it will remain anonymous) and invite your friends: Participation Link.

Exchange Program with Stellenbosch University

Chemnitz University of Technology offers an exchange program with Stellenbosch University in South Africa. There is a travel allowance of EUR 1,500 and a monthly stipend of EUR 1,200.
