Your Student Council ET/IT (Group Photo 2025)

We are the Student Council of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (ET/IT) and our mission is to support your studies and make your time at university as enriching as possible.

Our main goal is to create a strong connection between students and the faculty. We are your voice and represent your interests. That's why we are committed to making sure your concerns are heard — whether related to your studies, course content, or everyday university life.

As a student council, we focus on:

  • Advising and supporting students with study-related questions.
  • Organizing events to foster student interaction.
  • Excursions and workshops for career orientation.
  • Representing student interests within the faculty and university-wide.
  • Providing timely information and updates on important topics.

Subscribe to our newsletter to receive regular updates about events, deadlines, and job opportunities directly to your inbox!

We are currently seven students voluntarily working on your behalf.

Your feedback is important to us! Share your ideas, suggestions, or criticisms to help improve our work. Or even better: run for election and join the student council to actively shape campus life.

We look forward to meeting you!

Your Student Council for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology

The Student Council of the Faculty (FSR) represents the student body at the faculty level. Its members address all matters related to studies, examinations, and academic counseling within their respective faculties.

There are currently ten Student Councils, each representing the interests of their respective faculties. Depending on your field of study, you belong to a specific faculty, and the corresponding FSR can assist you with any study-related inquiries.

Tasks

  • Study-specific counseling
  • Counseling hours
  • Information events
  • Mediation between students and faculty
  • Conducting surveys for the evaluation and quality assurance of teaching
  • Organizing the Orientation Week (O-Week)
  • Arranging events, such as the Summer Festival of the Faculties or faculty-specific events
  • Election of representatives for university committees

Election

The members of the FSR are elected once a year directly by the students of the respective faculties. Any student of the faculty can run for election. For further information, you can contact us via email or approach the students of your current FSR.

Your participation is crucial because the FSR plays an essential role in student self-administration. Without student involvement, the FSR cannot function. Therefore, your contribution as a member or as an assisting volunteer is of great significance.

Other Student Councils

The Student Councils (FSR) are not limited to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology; there is one for each faculty. We also collaborate with them during various events, such as the Orientation Week (O-Week), the Summer Festival of the Student Councils, or the CampusLAN.
