
We are the Student Council of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FSR ET/IT) and our mission is to support your studies and make your time at university as enriching as possible.
Our main goal is to create a strong connection between students and the faculty. We are your voice and represent your interests. That's why we are committed to making sure your concerns are heard — whether related to your studies, course content, or everyday university life.
As a student council, we focus on:
- Advising and supporting students with study-related questions.
- Organising events to foster student interaction.
- Excursions and workshops for career orientation.
- Representing student interests within the faculty and university-wide.
- Providing timely information and updates on important topics.

On 16 April 2026, you will have the opportunity to visit the semiconductor fab of Bosch in Dresden and gain exciting insights into modern semiconductor manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
During the excursion, you will learn more about the Dresden site and its technologies while exploring current developments in sensor and semiconductor production.
Programme:
- 1:00 p.m.: Arrival and reception
- 1:15–1:45 p.m.: Factory presentation
- 1:45–2:45 p.m.: Tour (visitor center and PFA laboratory)
- 2:45–3:00 p.m.: Coffee break
- 3:00–3:15 p.m.: Introduction of the Bosch Dresden team
- 3:15–3:45 p.m.: Presentation: Industry 4.0
- 3:45–4:15 p.m.: Introduction to Bosch Sensortec
- 4:15–4:45 p.m.: Summary and open questions
