Was ist ein Fachschaftsrat?
Der FSR sind wir, Studierende aus verschiedenen Studiengängen der Philosophischen Fakultät, gewählt von euch als eure Interessenvertreter_innen. Unsere Aufgaben umfassen alles, was uns als Studierende betrifft. Beispielsweise Problemlösung bei Studium und Kommunikation, Unterstützung wo sie gebraucht wird, Hilfe bei Projekten, Beleben der Universität. Im Grunde sind wir das Multitool der studentischen Selbstverwaltung und Mitwirkung an Hochschulleben und Organisation.
Was wir tun umfasst alle Bereiche, die wir uns selbst zum Ziel setzen bzw. abdecken können!
Konkrete Aufgaben und Tätigkeiten von uns:
- die O-Phasen-Organisation
- Stundenplanberatung
- Arbeit in den Hochschulgremien und die Vertretung der Studierenden
- Kooperation bei institutsübergreifenden Veranstaltungen
- die finanzielle Unterstützung studentischer Projekte

Du hast Interesse an unserer Arbeit oder willst selbst Mitglied werden? Dann musst du dich zur Wahl aufstellen lassen und von der Studierendenschaft der Philosophischen Fakultät gewählt werden. Der Zeitraum zur Aufstellung der Wahl erfolgt voraussichtlich im November/ Dezember, hierfür veröffentlichen wir auch Termine für Schnuppersitzungen. Komm gern bei Interesse auf uns zu. Es warten auf dich hochmotivierte und engagierte Studierende, die coole Veranstaltungen planen wollen und die Studierendenschaft unterstützen möchten, sowie die Möglichkeit von Gremiensemestern. Are you a student and want to change something about your faculty of humanities at the TU Chemnitz? To help shape the life on campus, to support your fellow students, to realize the ideas you have and to transform the criticism of your university into constructive work? Then you’ve got until the 19th November to become a candidate for the upcoming election of the student council (FSR)!
Now you’re possibly asking yourself what we’re doing as your student council. So, here’s a small selection of our work: we plan and execute the Fresher’s Week every year, we co-supervise events like the Literarische Quintett and organize other faculty events, we financially support student ideas, we organize field trips, we help you with your curriculum and your classes schedule, we work in or along with the other university committees and function as your student representatives! And much more!
As you can tell, (nearly) everything is possible with us!
If your are interested to join in, just contact us! We are glad about everyone that can help and support us in our work. As a student of the faculty of philosophy you are able to become a member of the student council. For this you have to participate in the anual election around november/ december, where you can also visit a council meeting by us, to get a feeling about our regular work. Just as a notice: The language we mostly us in communication is german, so it would be helpful, if you have some skills in this language. We have to communicate with the faculty on a regular basis, an the work language therefore is german. If you are interested, just contact us on fsrphilintern(at)tu-chemnitz.de.
