LOKI – Literature Research with AI Support
At the moment, the course is only available in German, but an English translation is planned. To find reliable and reproducible information when conducting research during your studies, it is important to familiarise yourself with AI tools and learn how they work. In addition to basic research skills, this course provides fundamental knowledge on how certain AI tools work and how they can be used in academic literature research – when is it appropriate to use them, and when is it not? A key focus is on critically examining AI-generated results and cross-checking them against original sources. The course also addresses issues of academic integrity, particularly with regard to data protection, copyright and transparent documentation.
The course Literature Research with AI Support
is offered by Chemnitz University Library in collaboration with TUCacademy. If the course is taken as part of the TUCacademy Microcredential, you will need to register and complete several questionnaires for the funding institution. Upon successful completion of the assessment (final test), 1 credit point will be awarded.
Beyond that, the course is also open to everyone interested. Those who do not take the course as part of the TUCacademy do not need to register or complete the questionnaires. However, no credit point will then be awarded for the final test.
