On 16 April 2026, ETIT students and staff only have the opportunity to visit the semiconductor fab of Bosch in Dresden and gain exciting insights into modern semiconductor manufacturing and Industry 4.0.

During the excursion, you will learn more about the Dresden site and its technologies while exploring current developments in sensor and semiconductor production.

• 1:00 p.m.: Arrival and reception
• 1:15–1:45 p.m.: Factory presentation
• 1:45–2:45 p.m.: Tour (visitor center and PFA laboratory)
• 2:45–3:00 p.m.: Coffee break
• 3:00–3:15 p.m.: Introduction of the Bosch Dresden team
• 3:15–3:45 p.m.: Presentation: Industry 4.0
• 3:45–4:15 p.m.: Introduction to Bosch Sensortec
• 4:15–4:45 p.m.: Summary and open questions
