TUC Transition Days

TUC Transition Days

Connecting all university stakeholders for more sustainability in research and teaching. Let's shape transition for this. A continuous path and the constant examination of whether the direction is still pointing towards the goal.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering wants to align itself with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals in cooperation with other faculties of the TU Chemnitz. This event serves the formation of will within the TU Chemnitz and the visibility into the region. It is technical in nature, but strives for a broad transdisciplinarity, as sustainability can only be achieved in an interdisciplinary way. Therefore, perspectives of non-technical scientists of the university and external experts are very welcome. The event is a two-day event. Day 1 is intended as an information and discussion forum for the entire university public and other regional stakeholders. Day 2 serves to develop an internal faculty strategy and is therefore reserved for members of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The public social program accompanies both days.
