About MeTech

Technology is a cultural achievement that is developed and used by humans for humans. It serves a variety of purposes—whether for individuals' personal goals, for shared organizational goals, or for interpersonal exchange and the exploration of the world. Technology is closely linked to human society, influences it, and changes our world.

Chemnitz University of Technology is strongly characterized by its core competence in human and technology. The interdisciplinary research center “Human and Technology” investigates the central and forward-looking significance of the human factor in interaction with the technological factor. The center brings together research knowledge from various disciplines and promotes interdisciplinary exchange. We support our members and research partners in developing innovative project ideas and translating them into research proposals. Our goal is to increase the chances of success in acquiring third-party funding and to promote long-term research collaborations. In addition, we are happy to assist you with administrative tasks so that you have more time for your core tasks in research and teaching.
