The Doctoral Colloquium

Disputatio I or Disputatio II

With regard to the format of the doctoral colloquium you can choose between Disputatio I (in accordance with § 14 PromO) and Disputatio II (in accordance with § 15 PromO). You inform the Doctoral Committee of your choice when submitting your application for the opening of the doctoral procedure.

Hybrid and virtual doctoral colloquia

In justified exceptional cases it is possible to hold the doctoral colloquium in hybrid or virtual form at the request of the doctoral candidate. The corresponding application must be submitted using the form available for download here (see "downloads" on this page). It can be submitted together with the application for the opening of the doctoral procedure and must be received by the submission deadline for the last meeting of the doctoral committee before the planned date of the doctoral colloquium at the Office of the Doctoral Committee.

The application can only be processed if all required signatures are provided in a legally valid form. A scan of a handwritten signature will not be accepted.
