Practical training in materials testing at the IWW for students of the technical college TÜV Rheinland Bildungswerk gGmbH
Pupils from the technical college TÜV Rheinland Bildungswerk gGmbH took part in an internship on materials testing at the IWW. The work placement provided insights into materials science and technology. The methods of microscopy, tensile and notched bar impact testing as well as hardness and ultrasonic testing were presented and carried out in practice. The work placement is part of the young people's training to become state-certified technicians.
