The 2026 International Symposium on Epitaxial Graphene was held from 21 to 24 September 2026 at TU Chemnitz, Germany. This successful meeting brought together researchers working on epitaxial graphene on silicon carbide and in related areas of 2D materials research. Discussions covered growth and structure, electronic and vibronic properties, characterization, electronic transport, intercalation-driven proximity coupling and heterostructure formation, as well as potential applications. These topics were explored from both experimental and theoretical perspectives.
