Welcome package for young families
Children change the whole life and fill it with joy as well as new challenges. The first time in the role of a parent is exciting and questions arise in the organization of everyday family life. Since a good start in life as a family requires a family-friendly environment, the compatibility of family and career or studies has been close to the heart of the TU Chemnitz for a very long time.
As part of the project "Family-friendly university", parents at the TU Chemnitz have been receiving a welcome package on the occasion of the birth of their child since 2013. In addition to information about the offers of the family-friendly university of the TU Chemnitz, the package contains small attentions, such as:
- TU-bib with the inscription "Genius in growth"
- Baby lunch box with application for the Studentenwerk's free child refectory card for student parents
- Information material on baby and child development
- other small surprises from our partners
