Care in day care centres
At present, there are about 175 childcare facilities for children in Chemnitz that are run by local authorities and independent organisations.
The Office for Youth and Family of the City of Chemnitz offers a comprehensive research option for selection and registration in the facilities on its website in the Kita-Portal.
For a reliable application procedure to find a daycare place in Chemnitz, applications can be submitted directly through the Family Service.

Cooperation with City of Chemnitz
The Family Service of the TU Chemnitz provides support in advising and in finding daycare places for all members of the TU Chemnitz.
The application for a place in a cooperative day care centre is made through the application procedure of the City of Chemnitz with the support of the Family Service Coordinator.
