(Translation into English: Research results were presented in Hawaii)
At the beginning of the year, Hendrik Wache attended the 53rd Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) 2020 for the Chair of Information Systems – Business Process and Information Management from January 7 to 10, 2020, in Maui.
The results of two research projects funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) were presented to an international audience. On the one hand, the contribution “The Digital Twin – Birth of an Integrated System in the Digital Age” was presented from the project Co-TWIN (funding number: 02P17D146). In this paper, the authors Hendrik Wache and Prof. Dr. Barbara Dinter conducted a literature analysis on the understanding of digital twins and the managerial fields affected by this digital innovation and developed a research agenda. On the other hand, the contribution “The Impact of Digital Technology on Network Value Co-Creation” from the futureTEX project PROFUND (funding number: 03ZZ0618C) was presented. In this article, authors Sarah Hönigsberg, Prof. Dr. Barbara Dinter and Hendrik Wache presented a case study that deals with the question of how corporate networks introduce new technologies and how these affect their value co-creation.
Besides many exciting acquaintances that were made and presentations that were attended, a lot of valuable feedback for the projects and research could be collected.
