Students Council Education

Hi there, dear students,

We are your contact partners from the Student Council Education, and all of us are students in the various semesters.

Our tasks are:

• supporting you with problems or questions arising in the context of your studies. We function as mediators between yourself and your professor or lecturer.
• supporting you with finding your way into your studies.
• bringing together and networking students by way of organising the most different kinds of events.
• providing you with additional input apart from that given by the university.
• Representing interests covering the most different topics.

What are our plans, and what else do we do?

Apart from pleasant picnics, barbecue evenings and spaced out Christmas parties, we have been able to organise some more events:

• The summer university: three days of university during the semester holidays, with much fun, relaxation and interesting topics to be discussed and listened to at various locations as well as outdoors in the countryside
• `Back to School´: tours to several schools, to learn more about alternative concepts and models, and most of all to experience things at close quarters instead of just talking about them at university (Montessori, Waldorf, the Chemnitz School Model, and many more)

Now it´s your turn!

If you´ve got an idea for a project, just contact us, and we are going to help you with realising it, for example if there is lack of bodies, money, or if generally there are problems with implementation.

And you are welcome to join us right now, for really EVERYBODY is welcome, and we are happy about any kind of support and helping hands. Also, it is us who live on your participation, and nothing is decided without the consent of any member of our team.
