About me

Short Curriculum Vitae

I studied English and American Studies at Chemnitz University of Technology from 2009 to 2013. During my BA studies, I spent a semester abroad in Granada, Spain. In 2013 I enrolled for a Master of Arts Degree in English and American Studies, specializing in linguistics and TESOL, and graduated in 2016. During my master studies, I completed a teaching internship at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou and Zhuhai, China.
After graduation, I worked as an English teacher at a vocational school in Chemnitz and at a private high school in Zhuhai, China.
Since February 2019, I have been working as research staff on the ERASMUS+ project TEFL-ePAL, which aims at improving the English program at Palestinian higher education institutions.

Corpus linguistics, world Englishes computational linguistics, academic writing, TESOL.
