All about the promotion

Dear (future) PhD students,

We are pleased to note your interest in doing a doctorate at the University of Technology Chemnitz.

Doing a doctorate is a scientific and organizational challenge. We would be glad to accompany you on that journey. Here, we would like to facilitate the orientation right from the beginning of your doctorate and support you with the necessary administrative steps to ensure that your start is successful and optimal.

The Centre for Junior Scientists is an institution of the TU Chemnitz which is deeply committed to consulting and qualification. We are pleased if you take advantage of our service offer.

For all junior scientists, who are either doctoral students or interested in doing a doctorate, we offer comprehensive information and advice on general matters in the doctoral period. At the same time, we offer a substantial and free of charge programme for further education, which is interdisciplinary and tailored to junior scientists. It also supports you in your research and provides you with additional qualifications.
