Commissioner of the University Management for Junior Researchers

The President’s Office created the position of Presidential Representative for Junior Scientists in 2016 and filled this position for the first time in 2017. Taking into account the vote of the academic staff-members of the Senate of Chemnitz University of Technology as well as of representatives of the Academic Staff of Chemnitz University of Technology (VAMC), the President’s Office has appointed me as the new Presidential Representative for Early-career Researcher in November 2022.

I studied Psychology at the Chemnitz University of Technology between 2011 and 2016 and graduated with a doctorate from the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences (Professorship of Educational and Developmental Psychology) in 2021. I am currently a scientific staff member at the Professorships of Educational and Developmental Psychology as well as General and Biopsychology.

Furthermore, I am a member of the Faculty Committee of the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, a member of the Ethics Committee and represent the academic staff of the Institute of Psychology.

As Presidential Representative for Early-career Researcher, I look forward to a productive exchange with the President’s Office and will be available as contact person for requests, ideas or inquiries concerning the early-career researcher of our University.
