The Career Service promotes the network between university, students and the working world. We support students of all faculties during their study. We also support graduates entering their professional life and we add to the university’s range of services.As a link between university and businesses we provide a platform for companies and institutions to present themselves.

Our services include

Information

InformationOur information center is located at the Pegasus Center. Here you find information about career opportunities, application procedures and job entry. Moreover, additional useful information can be found on our Website. Information sessions, often held by graduates of TU Chemnitz, provide insight into various occupational areas.

 

Counselling

CounsellingIndividual counselling sessions enable you to learn about possible occupational areas and additional qualifications you might need on your career path. We support you by providing information on application documents and give you advice how to find a suitable job or internship.

 

Qualification

QualificationVisit our diverse workshops and acquire both subject-specific qualifications and work-related key competencies. This offer addresses enrolled students from the third semester onwards as well as doctoral students. Participating in our workshops or events is usually free of charge.

 

Placement

PlacementWe cooperate with regional and national partner companies. Owing to that, we can inform you about enterprises looking for interns, trainees or permanent positions. We can also forward student’s applications to the people in charge. That way we make sure the application reaches the right person.

 

Transnational Career Service

Transnational Career ServiceWith our new project Transnational Career Service we highlight career prospects in the Saxon-Czech border region and expand our activities to a transnational level. Together with our Czech partner universities we create structures and services in order to enable the students’ career entry in the respective neighboring country.
