Overview

Due to its modular structure, the Master's programme ensures a well-founded extension of the basic education in previous Bachelor's programmes in economics or social sciences.

Here, the focus is on social and organisational theory as well as on deepening knowledge of personnel, innovation and knowledge management as well as leadership. In addition, the students' social and leadership skills are explicitly developed.

The ability to realise consulting, training or research projects is trained as an important profile feature.

The aim of the Master's programme "Management & Organisation Studies" is to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the strategic management of organisations as well as in-depth knowledge in the areas of leadership, human resource management, organisational theory, organisational change and organisational learning, knowledge management and innovation.

The aim is to combine a pronounced research orientation with the acquisition of social and methodological skills for leadership and advisory activities.

Project-oriented learning is already supported in the first semester by the business game, and is further promoted by a larger training, advisory or research project.

It is also possible for students to gain additional international experience through a stay abroad at a partner university in the 3rd semester or through participation in the international African-American-European Summer School.
