Courses Summer Term

After successfully completing the module, students will have gained an overview of the most important management topics and theories and will be able to critically reflect on them. They will have learned the basics of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking and will be able to apply them. The independent development and presentation of business ideas also promotes the development and expansion of social skills in the areas of group and project work as well as presentation.

Central concepts and theories of global strategy and international management are covered and discussed. Furthermore, different market entry strategies are analyzed and economic, political, social, and cultural contextual factors of international management are highlighted. The discussion focuses on the tension between global efficiency and local adaptation of multinational companies. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have developed in-depth knowledge of international strategy and international management and will be able to critically analyze and apply key theories and concepts.

During the seminar, students work independently in individual or group projects on current topics from the field of international management. After successfully completing the seminar, students are able to work independently on a research project within a given time frame. In the case of group work, social skills are promoted through joint work and coordination.
