Sandra Fiedler presented her research on “Uncovering Family Dynamics in Succession” on September 20, 2024 at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Law in Hamburg. This format, which focuses on family businesses, connects international legal researchers with economists.

Sandra Fiedler was elected Communication Officer of EURAM SIG 04 FABR Family Business Research in September 2024. She supports the team of the special interest group for family business research in promoting the call for papers, communicating and organizing the conference, raising support for awards and maintaining the research group's social media channels.

The “TUCteach” format started in the summer semester 2023 with offers by lecturers for lecturers at Chemnitz University of Technology. The aim of the university didactic exchange and further education format is to make proven teaching practice by Chemnitz University of Technology lecturers open to other lecturers, to enable transfer to other departments, but also to put topics of teaching, learning, and examination up for discussion across the university.

Our colleague Christian Huber, winner of the teaching prize in 2022, spoke about his teaching and his SoTL project on 09.09.2024.

The study "Female and male entrepreneurs adopting digital technology: Embeddedness in the ecosystem for women entrepreneurship" by our colleague Mahsa Samsami and Thomas Schøtt as well as the study "Exporting by women-led family firms: Enhanced by ecosystems for family business and for women entrepreneurship?" by our colleague Mahsa Samsami and our chair holder Michael C.J. Mayer have been presented at the 2024 Diana International Research Conference.
