Im Juni 2022 übernahm Prof. Dr. Michael C.J. Mayer die Professur BWL – Organisation und Internationales Management an der Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Technischen Universität Chemnitz. Nach Stationen an der University of Glasgow und der University of Edinburgh war er zuvor Professor für Strategisches Management an der University of Bath in Großbritannien. Dort war er neben Forschung und Lehre vor allem in verschiedenen Bereichen des Universitätsmanagements tätig.
