International Open Access Week 2020: „Open with Purpose: Taking Action to Build Structural Equity and Inclusion.“ from October 19th to October 25th 2020

BE OPEN: Sustainable Open Access and Inclusion through Open Science

The Open Science Team of the University Library is participating in this year's International Open Access Week with two open (virtual) events.

We have organised a mini-symposium on Open Science for Monday, 19.10.2020. There will be a progress report from the scientific community and various presentations in German and English.

On Wednesday, 21.10.2020, from 11 am to 12 pm, we invite all interested parties to an online question and answer session on Open Science. Christian Schmidt, Carolin Ahnert, Anja Hähle and Martina Jackenkroll will answer your questions.

19.10.2020 - „Open Science, Inclusion and the Pandemic“

2020, the year of the Covid pandemic, has once again shown the importance of open access for trustworthy (scientific) information. For our mini-symposium we have invited experts on the topic of Open Science. We are looking forward to exciting lectures and a lively exchange with you!

In our online Q&A session from 11 am to 12 pm, you can ask us all your questions about an open scientific culture, e.g. Open Access, CC Licences, Research Data Management, OER and Open Source. We look forward to hearing from you!<7p>
