Full TUCforum meets for the first time

The TUCforum unites different member groups of the university to meet and exchange information.
The “TUCforum” is a newly established committee by the University President that meets once a semester. In the summer semester 2017, the members of the President’s Office meet with the Deans of the eight faculties, the heads of the departments of the Central University Administration, as well as the representatives of central institutions of Chemnitz University of Technology. Further participants of the meeting are the heads of the Center for Teacher Training, University Communication, the Press Office, as well as, for the first time, the University Management’s representatives for junior researchers and for students, Dr. Jens Teuscher and Marius Hirschfeld, respectively.,
“The purpose of the TUCforum is to gather the various institutions and member groups of the university in a minimalized form and to enable a direct exchange”, emphasizes University President Prof. Gerd Strohmeier.
