The department offers conductivity measurements in the plane-normal direction for various material classes. The tests are performed on a specially developed test bench according to a measurement method based on DIN 4880 and ensure reproducible, precise determination of the electrical properties. The available test chamber of max. 250 x 250 x 90 mm (L x W x H) allows for the investigation of both small samples and larger material segments.
Our measurement service is particularly suitable for graphite composite materials as well as metals, their alloys, and plastics. Depending on the material behavior and the measurement geometry, we provide the following characteristic values:
- Area-specific resistivity [Ohm*cm²]
- Specific electrical resistivity [Ohm*cm]
- Electrical conductivity [S/cm]
We would be happy to assist you in evaluating your materials and interpreting the measurement results for development, quality, or research purposes.
