ReSySt - Fuel Cell Reference System with Generic Stack
Present Research Project
Fuel Cell Reference System with Generic Stack
Design of a reference system with the generic fuel cell stack of the FVV and demonstration of the most important operating parameters and a reference cycle.
Fuel cell systems have the potential to become an important component of future energy conversion in vehicles. For this reason, this technology is being intensively researched both in industry and at universities. However, this intensive research and development work also has the consequence that many results of this work are protected by patents or comparable measures and a pre-competitive exchange, especially from and with research institutions, is only possible to a limited extent or not at all.
The aim of this project is to create a PEM fuel cell reference system that enables pre-competitive research and the exchange of information about it. For this purpose, it is necessary to design a fuel cell system based on the generic fuel cell stack already developed within the FVV, which will be easy to set up and operate for all interested parties. The system output power should be in the range of 100 kW.
