TiHydrAero - Titanium materials for hydrogen-carrying components in aviation
Present Research Project

The core of the project is the development of a titanium alloy that meets all requirements for hydrogen compatibility and permeability in the field of technology demonstrators. To this end, various additive manufacturing techniques and their process characteristics are being analyzed in terms of their influence on different titanium materials. The goal is to create durable and specific alloys that particularly meet the stringent requirements of the aerospace industry.
