About

Julia F. Kost has been an external doctoral candidate at the Institute for Media Research at Chemnitz University of Technology since 2025. In her doctoral thesis, she examines the perception of digital connection and disconnection in the context of everyday media use.  Professionally, Julia F. Kost has been working as a consultant in the field of digital marketing and data-driven communication since 2017. Since 2019, she has been a lecturer at Stuttgart Media University, teaching the course Online Marketing Fundamentals and supervising bachelor's and master's theses. Julia F. Kost is the author of a textbook on influencer marketing. She completed her academic education at Stuttgart Media University, majoring in journalism, media economics, and publishing.
