Short curriculum vitae
I studied English and elementary school education at Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and the first state exam in 2020. In my Bachelor thesis I researched how conceptual metaphors in political discourse in the US can provide insight into the moral views of presidential candidates.
Research interests
I am interested in corpus linguistics, language variation and cognitive linguistics, particularly figurative speech, as well as discourse analysis. Currently I am working on my PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christina Sanchez-Stockhammer.
