Microcredential: “Risks and Potentials of Technical Assistance Systems in Healthcare”
The Research Center for Human and Technology and Landkreis Mittweida Krankenhaus gGmbH jointly offer a microcredential next semester on the topic: “Risks and Potentials of Technical Assistance Systems in Healthcare.”In this intensive course, participants assume various roles – from technology developers to executive management – and collaboratively design innovative solutions for implementing robots in hospital settings.
This interdisciplinary module fosters essential competencies in project management, entrepreneurial thinking, leadership, as well as intercultural and social skills. The aim is to provide a realistic understanding of the complexity and multidimensionality of technical assistance systems. In particular, the course critically examines the opportunities and risks of deploying robots in everyday hospital practice and traces the path from idea to implementation using real-world examples.
Through close collaboration with Landkreis Mittweida Krankenhaus gGmbH, participants gain direct insight into hospital operations. This enables them to derive requirements from real professional activities and develop practice-oriented solutions.
