Anton Paar Ultrapyc 7000 Micro gas pycnometer

Device description

The Ultrapyc 7000 Micro is a high-precision gas pycnometer for determining the density of solids, foams and composite materials. The measuring principle is based on gas displacement and enables reliable density measurements even with very small sample quantities.

Technical features

  • Particularly suitable for small sample volumes
  • Measurement in the temperature range 3-60 °C with high stability ±0.02 °C
  • Argon, helium and nitrogen as analysis gases possible

Available measuring inserts

  • Micro (~4.5 cm³)
  • Meso (~1.8 cm³)
  • Nano (~0.25 cm³)
  • Additional own trade fair assignments possible
These modular options allow flexible customisation for different sample volumes.

Areas of application

  • Density measurement of powders, wires, solids and layer segments
  • Additive manufacturing, coating technology, composite materials
  • Suspensions, gels & slurries
