The FACHINFORMATIONSZENTRUM ZUWANDERUNG | EXPERT INFORMATION CENTER IMMIGRATION provides information on questions concerning residence status and work permit as well as the recognition of academic degrees. Options for actions are pointed out, necessary steps are defined, and suitable contact persons are introduced.
KAUSA Saxony
The aim of the KAUSA project is to promote participation in training among people with a migrant background. The Saxony Regional Office offers expert support – advising on entry requirements, eligibility criteria, residence permits and funding, and can arrange contacts with training companies.
The dual vocational training system in Germany is recognised worldwide for its effectiveness. It serves to secure skilled labour, offers international students interested in vocational training a pathway to a professional future, and provides them with the prospect of remaining in Germany as skilled labour.
