Innovation research and technology management are the main topics of the chair in research, teaching and transfer.

Innovation research includes a broad concept of innovation and includes dealing with all types of innovation, from new products and processes to social or business model innovations.

Technology management is understood here primarily as the strategic management of the resource technology at company and branch level. Fundamental theoretical concepts and models of technology management can be applied to all technologies. More about the term technology management can be found here.
