2019 was an event-filled year for Chemnitz University of Technology – but above all, it was an extremely successful one. A visit from the Federal President Steinmeier and the acquisition of the “Hybrid Societies” special research area of the German Research Foundation (DFG) stand out as particular highlights.

In this year’s final episode of TUCtalk, President Strohmeier gives a comprehensive overview of the numerous positive developments that took place in 2019, and also takes a look at what is to come in 2020.

In addition, students at Chemnitz University of Technology discuss what 2019 meant for them, and how they will spend the holidays.

The TUCtalk episodes, which are broadcast every four weeks or so, are produced by the Professorship of Media Informatics at Chemnitz University of Technology. The show is moderated by Stefanie Müller.
