Background: TUC is a "Partner University of Elite Sports"

Combining studies and sports is a challenge for many high-level athletes. With the "Partner University of Elite Sports" initiative, TUC, in collaboration with the Olympic Training Center Chemnitz/Dresden and the General German University Sports Federation (adh), offers elite athletes numerous opportunities to shape their academic and athletic careers – for example, through a flexible timetable, individually coordinated submission and exam dates, and the introduction of sabbatical semesters as "championship semesters".
