Work and Health in Balance - First Digital Health Week at Chemnitz University of Technology

From 2 to 6 November 2020, the first online health week at Chemnitz University of Technology will take place with numerous programs for employees

This year, under normal circumstances, the third Health Day would have taken place at Chemnitz University of Technology. Since in-person events are still not feasible on this scale due to the corona pandemic, this year’s edition has been moved online. The first Digital Health Week will take place from November 2-6, 2020. Even though the format of the event has changed, the motto remains: "Work and health in balance."

The program selections will take the changed working conditions in the course of the current situation into account. There will be numerous workshops, lectures and participation programs on the topics of home office and eye relaxation. Webinars on nutrition, relaxation, and fitness complete the program.

Additional event highlights:

  • Nutrition Workshop on Meal Prep
  • Home Office - Healthy Work, Even at Home
  • Eye Training and Relaxation
  • Fit in Your Home Office
  • Backfit Goes Yoga
  • Stress Reduction and Sleep Health
  • Optimal Work From Home
  • Which Relaxation Method Suits Me Best?
  • Nutrition Workshop on Food for the Immune System

The program was put together by Kristin Röhr, head of the Center for Sports and Health Promotion (ZfSG), Sebastian Siegert, ZfSG employee, as well as the members of the steering committee for university health management with the support of the cooperation partners Techniker Krankenkasse, Unfallkasse Sachsen and ias Group.

The participation of the employees of Chemnitz University of Technology in the health program is possible during working hours after consultation with the respective supervisors.
