The Bachelor's program in Political Science is integrated into the Faculty of Law, Political Science, and Criminology, making it highly interdisciplinary. The curriculum includes courses on topics such as the political system of Belgium, international politics, sociology, psychology, public law, and criminal law. In the Master's program, there are numerous opportunities for specialization, including in the fields of European politics and international relations.

The city at the confluence of the Ourthe and Meuse rivers has a long history as a bishop's seat. One of its most notable landmarks is the Montagne de Bueren, a 19th-century staircase with 374 steps, which is particularly worth visiting and climbing. Liège has a population of approximately 200,000 and is considered the cultural hub of Wallonia. In 2007, it was named the European Capital of Culture.
