An eLearning event presented by the TU Chemnitz TESOL Section at the Chemnitz Volkshochschule

- What does multi-media learning entail these days?
- Which applications can one use to teach grammar and vocabulary?
- Which platforms can one use to develop the key language skills?
- What virtual tools are there for developing pragmatic competence?
- What should teachers know about online assessments?
These questions and more will be addressed by a spirited group of postgraduate students of English in a two-hour information exchange to be held on Monday 1 July 2019 at the Chemnitz Volkschochshule. The presentation is the culmination of the students’ second semester course on eLearning – Computer-Assisted Language Learning – and they will showcase what they have learnt of the strengths and shortcomings of various applications, media and services that are at the disposal of language teachers today.
