Attendance at 4th Hybrid & Structures 2020 conference

The international conference „Hybrid 2020“ took place this year from 28th to 29th April as an online conference. Dr. Maik Trautmann from the Group Composites presented the research results from the joint DFG project „MeSH“. The paper with the title: „Influence of surface treatment on interfacial strength and tensile properties of thermoplastic based hybrid laminates“ is published in the proceedings. The project colleagues from the Department of the Materials Test Engineering (WPT) from the TU Dortmund University presented a second interesting contribution on the fatigue behavior of hybrid laminates manufactured at the Group of Composites and Materials Compounds.

"Many interesting works were presented and I could follow the contributions very well. The direct conversations during the coffee break are of course difficult to reproduce digitally, although the organizers took great pains to do everything.", Maik Trautmann summarizes the conference.
