In mid-January, Dr. Maik Trautmann visited the Institute of Metal Forming and Metallurgical Processing at AGH University of Kraków. During his stay, he gave a lecture on particle-reinforced aluminum matrix composite materials and presented the research activities of the Group of Composites and Material Compounds to the institute’s staff. There was also the opportunity to visit all laboratories and discuss potential joint cooperation projects. Particularly in the simulation of metallic composite materials, promising collaboration opportunities may arise.
The visit took place within the Erasmus+ program, which enables travel between partner universities for teaching activities. Last year, the AGH hosted Dr. Krystian Zygula, Dr. Piotr Ledwig, and Dr. Łukasz Lisiecki, who also gave lectures at our institute.
