WOT student receives prize from the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD
On 15 December 2022, Linto George Thomas, who is studying for a Master's degree in „Advanced Manufacturing“ and is currently writing his Master's thesis at the WOT after successfully completing his research project, received the DAAD Prize for outstanding achievements by foreign students and doctoral candidates at German universities. The WOT congratulates him on this success!
In addition to his outstanding academic achievements, Mr George Thomas has also made a name for himself through his exceptional social and intercultural commitment. In addition to his professional academic commitment, Mr George Thomas is also involved in the Chemnitz UNICEF group and supports the FRIENDS of TU Chemnitz. These groups help him to advise and support other international students at Chemnitz University of Technology with regard to university, formal and personal life in Chemnitz and Germany. Furthermore, Mr George Thomas is a member of the International Campus’ of the Student Mission SMD Chemnitz, which promotes international understanding and cultural exchange between students from different cultural areas.
