(Vibration and sliding wear in the small load range)

Test parameters:

• Normal load: 1 to 20 N (stepless)
• Wear rate: 1 – 80 min ^-1 (rotation) or ≤ 10 mm⁄s (translation).
• Test temperature up to 200 °C at translation
• Conditioned test conditions possible
• Electrical contact measurement with automatic switch-off

Testing system:

• Flexible sample geometry: e.g. 40 x 20 x 15 mm ³ or round Ø = 40 mm, t = 10 mm
• Counter body: ball diameter: 3, 6 or 10 mm
• Pin diameter: 2 - 6 mm

Evaluation sizes:

• Depth of wear (total wear of the friction partners)
• Coefficient of friction, frictional force
• Ohmic resistance
• Contour of the wear track ( Touch probe , 3-D profilometer )
