Programmes and Goals
WoMentYou aims to support highly qualified female scientists on their way to a professorship or another leading position in science or research.
The Centre for Equal Opportunities offers the following two programme:
“WoMentYou” for female junior professors, habilitation candidates, postdoctoral researchers and postdocs
(Start of the first round in the winter semester 2017/2018)
“WoMentYou_Doc” for female doctoral candidates
(Start of the first round in the winter semester 2018/2019)
Content of Programme
The Mentoring Programme

Supports female scientists with the planning and implementation of their career paths on their way to a professorship

Prepares the participants for research and executive tasks within the scientific system

Empowers and encourages female scientists to pursue their decision of pursuing a career in science

Supports the expansion of a professional network
“WoMentYou“ support female junior professors, post-graduates, habilitated scientists and post-doctorates of all faculties as well as Central Institutions of the TU Chemnitz, that pursue a professorship or an executive position in science and research.

Supports the expansion of a professional network
“WoMentYou_Doc“ is specifically for female junior scientists of all faculties and Central Institutions of the TU Chemnitz during their doctoral phase, that want to stay within the scientific system and individually pursue an executive position in science or research.
