Prof. Dr. Stephan Mühlig holds the chair of clinical psychology and is head of the Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic and the Psychosocial Counseling Center in Chemnitz - In the new episode of TUCtalk, he explains how his research and commitment helps people with mental impairments

Life is full of professional and private challenges. But sometimes these challenges can get out of hand and lead to mental illness that needs to be treated. At the Chemnitz University of Technology, there is a Psychosocial Counseling Center (Psychosoziale Beratungsstelle; german page) and the Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic (Psychotherapeutische Hochschulambulanz; german page) which those affected can turn to.

Prof. Dr. Stephan Mühlig is the Head of the Professorship Clinical Psychology at Chemnitz University of Technology and heads both institutions. In the new episode of TUCtalk, he talks about who the facilities are aimed at and how his research and commitment helps people with mental impairments. He also clears up the misconception that mental illness has increased in recent years.
