Prof. Dr. Georg Jahn is spokesman of the Collaborative Research Center "Hybrid Societies" at Chemnitz University of Technology and talks about human-machine interaction and embodied technologies in the new episode of TUCtalk
Robots, drones, and autonomous machines are already part of everyday life in various forms. This is a trend that will continue and poses completely new challenges to society. One of these challenges is the interaction between humans and machines and, above all, the question of how both can coordinate well in public spaces.
The question of human-machine interaction is not only one of the core competencies of Chemnitz University of Technology, but is also being intensively researched in the new Collaborative Research Center (SFB) "Hybrid Societies" at the university. Speaker of the SFB is Prof. Dr. Georg Jahn, holder of the Professorship of Applied Geropsychology and Cognition. In the new episode of TUCtalk, he provides comprehensive insights into the SFB's diverse fields of research and highlights the cooperation with participating researchers.
