Organic molecules can be synthesized by comparatively simple methods and, above all, functionalized in a variety of ways. In the field of condensed matter, their applications range from molecular electronics, organic photovoltaics to the realization of flexible and printable electronics. The close cooperation with our colleagues from the Institute of Chemistry at the TU Chemnitz allows us to fully elucidate the potential of this interdisciplinary field.
