Short curriculum vitae

I graduated from Tomsk Teachers' Training University in Russia with a Specialist's degree (5 years of studying) in teaching German and English in 1986 and got my PhD (Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences- in Russia) from the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia in St.Petersburg. I had taught English and German at a secondary and high school in the city of Tomsk, at Tomsk Teachers's Training university and Tomsk Polytechnic University, and since 2010 I am employed at the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. I studied Teaching German as a Foreign and a Second Language at Kassel University in Germany, University Administration at Montana State University, Innovations in TESOl and Applied Linguistics at Pennsylvania State University.

Research interests

My main research interests are e-learning (blended learning, Web 2.0. tools, flipped classrom, MOOCs, etc.), autonomous learning, language pedagogy in general.
