Research activity
Thomas Grund was head of the "Thermal Spraying" department of the Composite Materials Professorship from 2006 to 2008. Since 2008 he has been a senior engineer at the IWW and responsible for project acquisition and coordination at the Professorship of Materials and Surface Engineering. Thomas Grund completed his doctorate in 2010 in the field of cold gas spraying of solder materials. His proven research expertise lies in the areas of coating and surface technology as well as solder joining.Publications
