Research areas

The research of the chair for general and biopsychology mainly focusses on the basic areas of motivation and emotion psychology. Furthermore, there is a strong interest in biopsychological correlates (e.g. EEG, ECG, HRV, and SCL) and practical implementations within these domains. We put this into operation through these specific projects:

• Moral emotions and behaviour
• Socio-emotional competencies of children
• Indoor human behaviour
• Heartrate Variability
• Diagnostics und prevention in sports

• Challenges and chances in care, support and accommodationand of children and juveniles with complex need for assistence (05/2017 - 03/2020)
• Early Birds - Antidiscrimination and early intervention during preschool age (04/2017 - 12/2018)
• Accompanying the establishment of the programme Prevention Management - Skills for Social Interventions (09/2018 - 08/2020)
