Management

The quality of teaching, research and study determines the performance and sustainability of the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. Therefore, we have established a quality management system that aims to enhance the quality of our teaching and study continuously.

Our activities mainly focus on the improvement of organizational structures and teaching conditions. The working process is characterized by the identification of development needs and the derivation of appropriate measures of improvement.

These are planned, implemented and evaluated by representatives from quality assurance. Together with experts within the faculty, they work in specific competence teams to benefit from the faculty’s expert knowledge. Within a quality committee, the effectiveness of implemented quality measures is reviewed. Further, the Dean´s Office offers assistance implementing research projects through a competent point of contact.

Quality Objectives

The assurance and continuous development of the quality of teaching and study is the main purpose of quality management in the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. In this regard, we are working toward a higher degree of transparency and enhanced networking of all involved members. For this purpose, faculty-wide standards need to be established. As a strategic perspective we aim to create a high quality awareness in all faculty employees and establish a comprehensive quality culture.
